The Scottish Claymore has been reproduced from a 16th century museum piece. Combining great size with graceful lines, these swords were used with devastating effect by highlanders of old. The distinctive brass drooping quillons, quatrefoils and pommel are complemented by a macassar ebony handle. Blade is edged and tempered high carbon spring steel. I found a picture of this sword on the excellent site Swords'n Stuff and thought that a model of it would look nice here. I think I came pretty close to the original.
